Never The Same
From the Cavali Art mission, we aim to be part of contemporary art projects that reach more parts of the world over time.
It is an exceptional collaboration between EDIT – Porto Urbano and Blackdove, and Gagliardi e Domke Gallery showcasing the work of Davide Maria Coltro, a pioneer with over 25 years of experience in Digital Art. Coltro is recognized as one of the pioneers of digital art, revolutionizing the creation, dissemination, and appreciation of art. The exhibition consists of ten pieces on large digital canvases, offering a continuous flow of constantly generated images, each unique in its expression of medial abstraction.
The exhibition occurred at Edit Porto Urbano in Murazzi, Turin, Italy. This unique fusion of creativity, technology, and collaboration redefines the boundaries of digital art. His innovative approach has led to a unique relational platform used to create his electronic painting. A vibrant urban space transformed into a showcase of digital art and unprecedented visual experiences. It strategically coincides with Artissima, one of the most prominent international contemporary art fairs, during a season when only the best of contemporary art is exhibited to the public visiting the city—a unique opportunity for art and technology that goes beyond traditional art exhibitions.
After ensuring everything was well and ready, we left EDIT, awaiting the grand opening day. We supported the artist, family, friends, collectors, curators, and enthusiasts, showcasing the ability to socialize and explain the entire project to those present, clarifying to visitors which project they were witnessing, and developing essential and professional work. It was a great experience with the stamp of Cavali Art, always supporting each of its projects to ensure they turn out in the best way and spreading positive energy.
We accompanied Davide Maria Coltro in his first meeting with Marc Billing, founder of Blackdove USA, a prominent digital art gallery. This memorable meeting highlighted the importance of Coltro’s art and its relevance in the art market. Additionally, we had the opportunity to assist the artist in translating from Italian to English to clarify his intentions and what was important to him when undertaking this project and exhibiting his art, aspects that only some perceive in the same way. Nevertheless, it was achieved thanks to the Sensibility of Cavali Art. Details will always be a priority in all the projects we work on. Subsequently, we visited the venue with the artist and made essential technical connections at the exhibition site, reviewing Blackdove’s digital canvas screens with USB 2.0/Wi-Fi technology and 32-inch LCD panels.
Cavali Art’s support always seeks to give each project the importance it deserves when presenting artwork. It was not just a simple installation and connection; we had the opportunity to witness the platform and technology with which the artist works, developed by himself, throughout a day alongside a visionary genius. Cavali Art supported the artist, generating word of mouth on social media.
